Supplement Company Warned on Unapproved Ingredients, GMPs
Three unapproved ingredients and a host of labeling and other GMP violations have resulted in an FDA warning letter for a Texas-based supplement company.
In the just-released June 8 warning letter to Xcel Sports Nutrition in Lubbock, Texas, the agency told the supplement company three ingredients present in several of their products are in violation of federal law.
The FDA warned that failure to immediately cease distribution of any products containing Acacia rigidula, picamilon, or BMPEA could result in enforcement action.
