Angiotech Receives CE Marking for Chronic Dialysis Catheter

Angiotech Pharmaceuticals has received CE Marking and will begin marketing its HemoStream Chronic Dialysis Catheter in Europe.

Chronic dialysis catheters are used as long-term vascular access for hemodialysis. The device also may be used as a temporary access until more permanent options are available, Angiotech said.

The product received FDA clearance last year.
