Biotest Receives FDA Clearance for Blood Bank Reagents

August 18, 2008

The FDA gave marketing clearance for Biotest Diagnostics’ full line of traditional blood bank reagents.

The reagents screen and type blood and are used to help match patients with donors, Biotest said.

The clearance covers the company’s traditional reagents: Seraclone blood grouping agents, Biotestcell reagent red blood cells, rare typing reagents, anti-human globulins, enhancement reagents, and control sera and red cells.
