Hiring Trend in Medical Device Market Provides Better Qualified Candidates

September 25, 2008
Hiring in the high-tech medical device field has evolved into a recruiter’s market over the past four months. In general, the trend is good news for device companies. New candidates being brought on board tend to be top performers within a company’s specific area of expertise and therefore do not require a lot of time and money be spent on training, Nancy Simon, Lucas Group’s executive senior partner on medical devices, said. With this hiring trend, companies are looking for candidates who exceed the job requirements. And larger pools of qualified candidates are making companies stronger and more efficient as they can find an exact match and do not have to settle for a minimally qualified employee.
