CMS Solicits Nominees for DMEPOS Advisory Panel

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is soliciting nominations for candidates to serve on its program advisory and oversight committee that advises on issues dealing with the competitive bidding program for durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies (DMEPOS). The committee will be comprised of 10-12 members from specific categories, including beneficiary representatives and suppliers, CMS says in a statement . Nominees from additional categories may be considered if their expertise will help ensure the successful implementation of the program. Nominations are due by Nov. 3.
