Boston Scientific, GE Healthcare Collaborate on Cardiovascular Imaging

GE Healthcare and Boston Scientific are teaming up to improve intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) workflow between GE’s Innova cardiovascular X-ray system and Boston Scientific’s iLab ultrasound imaging system. The iLab system can be installed in a cardiac catheterization lab or radiology suite alongside the Innova system, which allows physicians to use IVUS to determine treatment options by providing a picture from inside the artery or vessel, Boston Scientific said.
