FDA Clears Ivera Medical’s Curos Port Protector

Ivera Medical has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Curos Port Protector, a device that decontaminates needleless IV access ports and helps prevent touch and airborne contamination. The product is designed to reduce patient exposure to hospital-acquired bloodstream infections and to help maintain hospital infection-control protocols, Ivera said.
