Sponsor-Investigator Warned for Eyelash Growth Trial

The FDA warned Cayman Chemical for sponsoring and investigating a clinical trial of an eyelash-growth enhancement drug without filing an investigational new drug (IND) application or getting institutional review board approval. The Ann Arbor, Mich., company also was cited for informed consent failures, according to the Jan. 19 warning letter.
