FDA to Hold Device Nanotechnology Workshop

The FDA will hold a public workshop to get information on the manufacture, characterization and biocompatibility evaluation of devices and diagnostics using nanomaterials. The workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Hilton in Gaithersburg, Md. Comments to be presented at the workshop should be submitted by Sept. 15. Other written comments are due by Oct. 22.
