Last of Individual Charges Dropped in Stryker Off-Label Case

The government’s decision to drop charges against all four Stryker officials indicted in a bone product off-label promotion scheme could serve as a “cautionary flag” in future cases, attorneys for one of the men say. Charges against former Stryker Biotech president Mark Philip were dismissed in Massachusetts District Court Feb. 2, after newly opened documents cleared Philip of any wrongdoing. Charges were earlier dropped against three former sales representatives for lack of evidence.
