Blogger Rich Meyer comments about the uptick in attacks on the pharma industry. “While there is no excuse for putting sales ahead of patients or illegal marketing of drugs and medical devices, the industry it seems is being attacked by everyone everywhere,” he writes. Some companies require that executives have a sales background “which tells me that they are chasing the dollar more than integrity,” he writes, adding “there are a lot of very good people working in the industry. Let’s not let the media spotlight leave them out in the cold.”
