Novartis Asks Employees to Take ‘Personal Responsibility’ for Quality

Novartis is launching an in-house campaign to underscore employees’ “personal responsibility” for quality as the company’s manufacturing remediation continues. “When you see something that’s not right, tell your colleagues, your managers or me,” CEO Joseph Jimenez said in a recent memo to associates on the impending rollout of the new “quality matters” initiative. The new quality initiative identifies five behaviors that should be more visible to customers and regulators.
