Markey to Hamburg: Will FDA Punish Rogue Compounder?

Rep. Edward Markey (D-Mass.) continues to push the FDA for answers about how it will respond to a compounding pharmacy linked to 14 deaths. In a letter to FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg, Markey asks whether the FDA was misled by the New England Compounding Center and, if so, what fines and penalties it can impose.
