Health Canada Plans Vigilance Shift to Total Product Lifecycle Approach

Health Canada plans to shift health product monitoring to a total product lifecycle approach in the coming years, the agency said in a Sept. 12 document detailing a new framework for health product vigilance. The proposed revisions build on current systems to establish a three-step process that would be continuous from the time a product went into use.
