CryoLife Expands Into Asia/Pacific Market

February 18, 2014

Kennesaw, Ga.-based CryoLife is expanding its footprint in the Asia/Pacific market, establishing CryoLife Asia Pacific as a wholly owned subsidiary of the parent corporation.

As part of the expansion, CryoLife is posting its vice president of sales for Canada, Asia/Pacific and the Americas to Singapore, where he will manage the company’s sales expansion, product registrations and new product launches in the region.

CryoLife President and CEO Steve Anderson said the company is “excited about creating a strong footprint in Asia/Pacific to support our current growth and future prospects in this important market.”

CryoLife currently is working on registering its PerClot surgical bleeding-control and gaining an expanded indication for BioGlue surgical adhesive in Japan, as well as registering the latter in China, Anderson said. — Lena Freund
