E-Vision Smart Optics to Develop Electronic Contact Lenses

E-Vision Smart Optics has announced plans to develop electronic contact lenses with the ability to continuously adjust far, near and middle vision based on the needs of the wearer.

The lens features the company’s Smart Focus Optics platform technology and contains an electric field surrounded by a near invisible layer of liquid crystal material.
