Counterfeit Harvoni Discovered in Israel

The Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products is warning of counterfeit packs of Gilead’s hepatitis C drug Harvoni being sold over the Internet.

The warning was issued after spurious versions of the HCV drug surfaced in Israel.

The products originated in India and were imported via a Swiss trading company and contain white instead of genuine yellow film-coated tablets, Swissmedic said.
