St. Jude Introduces Trifecta Valve in EU

St. Jude Medical has launched its Trifecta valve with Glide technology — which is designed to treat diseased, damaged or malfunctioning aortic heart valves — in the EU.

The tissue-covered valve allows for tissue-to-tissue contact and is coated with anticalcification treatment to diminish mineralization. Further, the Glide technology facilitates implantation in both minimally invasive and traditional valve replacement procedures.
