Toshiba Medical’s Cardiovascular Ultrasound Gains FDA Clearance

Toshiba Medical has received FDA clearance for its cardiovascular ultrasound device, Aplio i900 -- the latest addition to Toshiba’s Aplio i-series.

The device is designed for fetal, pediatric, stress echo and transesophageal echocardiography imaging.

The Aplio i900 provides thinner beam slices and more information in each image.

Cardiologists can use the device to make fast and accurate diagnoses even in technically difficult patient exams. — Cynthia Jessup
