OrthoAccel's AcceleDent Optima Gains FDA Clearance

OrthoAccel has received FDA clearance for its accelerated orthodontic device, AcceleDent Optima.

The Optima produces a pulsating force to stimulate cellular activity in orthodontic treatment to speed up bone remodeling.

The device uses the AcceleDent App to directly connect patients and dental practices with usage monitoring and direct messaging.

AcceleDent Optima has also been cleared by Health Canada and has received the CE Mark in Europe. — Cynthia Jessup
