South Africa Calls for Nominations for New Regulatory Authority

The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority is inviting nominations for the board of the new authority, including candidates with knowledge of medical device and IVDs.

SAHPRA positions to be filled include up to 10 individuals with expertise in medicine, medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, clinical trials, good manufacturing practices, public health and epidemiology.

Employees of national, provincial and local government agencies are not entitled to additional remuneration if they serve on the SAHPRA board.
