NEOSURG RECEIVES PATENT FOR NEW TIP TECHNOLOGY

NeoSurg Technologies, a developer of minimally invasive access products for laparoscopic surgery, has been granted a patent relating to its bladeless tip technology.

The patent -- U.S. No. 6,835,201, titled "Trocar" -- covers a bladeless tip geometry for the T2000 Reusable Trocar System.

Currently, NeoSurg Technology is protected by more than 13 patents and patent applications worldwide. The objective of the patents is to broaden the intellectual property protection worldwide for the T2000 technology.
