THE LAW FIRM OF LASKY & RIFKIND ANNOUNCES CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST ATHEROGENICS

Lasky & Rifkind, a law firm with offices in New York and Chicago, has announced that a lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, on behalf of persons who purchased or otherwise acquired publicly traded securities of Atherogenics between Sept. 28, 2004 and Dec. 31, 2004, inclusive. The lawsuit was filed against Atherogenics, Russell Medford, Mark Colonnese and Robert Scott.
