OXYGEN HEALTHCARE TO COMMISSION CHEMISTRY RESEARCH LAB AT A'BAD SOON

Oxygen Healthcare, promoted by a group of UK-based NRIs, is setting up a world-class research facility in Ahmedabad to offer contract chemistry in drug discovery for bio-pharmaceutical companies based in Europe and the U.S. Being that the infrastructure is almost ready now, the facility is expected to go on stream by the end of February 2005. Sunil Shah, director and partner, Oxygen Healthcare said that the facility was being funded through internal accruals, and was its first such venture in the healthcare sector and in the country.
