Millennium Pharma, Belgian Firm Forge Collaboration

Millennium Pharmaceuticals will collaborate with a Belgium pharmaceutical giant to develop potential inflammation treatments. Cambridge-based Millennium announced recently that it had signed the deal with Brussels-based UCB Pharma's Celltech Antibody Research Centre of Excellence. They'll jointly research, develop and commercialize drugs developed from two validated Millennium targets that seem to affect inflammation in diseases like psoriasis, ulcerative colitis and graft rejection.
