Shire CEO Believes Canada Will Reverse Drug Ban

Shire Pharmaceuticals Group Plc is confident Canadian regulators will reverse a decision to suspend its top-selling hyperactivity drug, since the ban is not justified, the company's chief executive has said. CEO Matthew Emmens said on Thursday that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, guardian of the world's largest medicines market, was "not concerned" about the safety of Adderall XR.
