Chugai Pharmaceutical to Reorganize Its Production Framework

Chugai Pharmaceutical has announced the reorganization plan of its production framework. Under the new plan, Chugai will consolidate its production operations into two plants, Utsunomiya and Fujieda Plants, over the next five to six years. The company has also decided to spin off all of its production divisions and merge them into a separate company in January 2006.
