Endo Pharma Licenses Two Pain Patches

Endo Pharmaceuticals said it licensed exclusive U.S. and Canadian rights to develop and commercialize two pain-relief patches from Durect and ProEthic Pharmaceuticals. Endo, a unit of Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings, reduced its projected full-year earnings to reflect greater research and development spending this year from acquiring the licenses for Durect's Transdur product and ProEthic's ketoprofen topical patch.
