MacroPore to Raise $11 Million From Equity Placement

MacroPore Biosurgery announced it has signed a definitive agreement to raise $11 million from the sale of 1.1 million shares of common stock at $10.00 per share. The transaction will be completed on or before May 31. As part of the agreement, the investor has been granted an option that expires Dec. 31, 2006, to purchase an additional 2.2 million shares of common stock at $10.00 per share.
