Canada Publishes Final Guidance on Patented Medicines Regulations

Health Canada has released final guidance covering the responsibilities of innovator firms, subsequent manufacturers and the Office of Patented Medicines and Liaison (OPML) under the amended Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations, which took effect Oct. 5, 2006 (IPRM, October 2006).
