California Regulators Warn of Possible Counterfeit HIV Drug
The California State Board of Pharmacy has reported a possible attempt to introduce counterfeit versions of EMD Serono’s Serostim, an HIV treatment, into the U.S. supply chain. The matter, made public by the drug’s manufacturer, is being investigated by the FDA’s Office of Criminal Investigations, Virginia Herold, the state pharmacy board’s chief, told DGR.
