Wyeth Backs Off Challenge to Generic Effexor XR Filing
Wyeth has decided not to sue Sun Pharmaceutical Industries over its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) seeking to market generic Effexor XR, despite the fact that Sun’s application contains Paragraph IV certifications for multiple patents that expire in 2017.
