PhRMA Calls for Strong IP Protection for Biologics in TPP FTA

U.S. pharmaceutical industry association the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) is calling on the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) to include strong intellectual property (IP) provisions, such as 12-year data protection for follow-on biologics, in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement.
