FDA Advisory Panel Vacancies Fill As Hill Pushes Softer Conflict Rules

As Congress and industry have been pushing to relax conflict-of-interest rules for FDA advisory panels, citing vacancies on device-related committees, the agency has reduced that vacancy rate from 35 percent to 20 percent.
