Drug Industry, Regulator Benefit-Risk Plans Move Forward
BOSTON — A drug industry-developed risk-benefit framework for development has received high reviews from pharma companies in a recent study, with the majority rating it moderately to extremely effective. After the plan is fully developed, it should be combined with an FDA pilot framework before a 2013 deadline for agency implementation of a risk-benefit analysis program, stakeholders say.
