Singapore Draft Guidance Forwards Plan to Expedite Low-Risk Device Registrations
Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority (HSA) has revised its guidance on registration of Class B devices to incorporate new expedited and immediate registration routes for products already authorized in major international markets. The plan to ease registration of lower-risk devices — first announced in April — could help Singapore compete effectively with more developed markets in neighboring South Korea, China and Japan.
