FDA Ordered to Release Remaining Email Surveillance Documents
A federal judge has ordered the FDA to release additional pages of logs and documents concerning its surveillance of six current and former employees who reported device safety concerns to Congress and the U.S. Office of Special Counsel. U.S. District Judge James Boasberg called for the release of the documents — related to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit that has been languishing for almost two years — by Aug. 15 and information on who was involved by Aug. 24. Any remaining material must be produced by Sept. 10, according to the July 23 court order.
