Watson Pharmaceuticals is planning an immediate launch of its Next Choice One Dose emergency contraceptive tablet, the generic equivalent of Teva Women’s Health Plan B One-Step. The FDA approved the Watson product making it the only generic one-dose emergency contraceptive on the market. Teva’s Plan B One-Step had U.S. sales of approximately $88 million for the 12 months ending in May.
