UDI Comment Period Extended: 45 More Days on Info Collection
The FDA is giving devicemakers an additional 45 days to comment on the collection of information associated with a unique device identifier (UDI) system. Comments will now be accepted until Oct. 25, according to a Sept. 24 Federal Register notice. The previous deadline was Sept. 10. Comments on the proposed rule itself are open until Nov. 7.
