JAMA: Half of Cardiac Devices Lack Active Clinical Trial Data
More than half of approved Class III cardiac devices make it to market without clinical trial data establishing they’re better than the standard of care, according to a research letter published in the Nov. 7 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association.
