Parents ‘Not Confident’ Using EpiPen
An alarming number of parents admit they are not confident in using an adrenaline injection in an emergency to rescue their child from a severe allergic reaction. Prescriptions written for the auto-injector, known as an EpiPen, have skyrocketed 650-fold in the past eight years, far outstripping increasing allergy rates.
