Sunshine Act Permits Two-Year Delay to Disclose Financial Ties

Drug, device and biologics manufacturers may wait to disclose payments to clinical trial researchers for at least two years under a Senate bill — and not disclose them before the clinical trials begin, which was the recommendation of an HHS Office of Inspector General (OIG) report.
