Stimulus Bill Passes Full House, Funds Vaccines and Research

The U.S. House has approved a stimulus bill that includes $4.1 billion in funding that could affect drugmakers by making more money available for HIV vaccines and pandemic flu preparedness; biomedical research into cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and other conditions; and research into comparative effectiveness of treatments, including drugs.
