Australia Plans to Overhaul OTC Drug Guidelines
Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) plans to redraft its regulatory guidelines for OTC drugs over the coming year. The redrafting and subsequent consultation, slated for completion in October, are intended to bring the 2003 Australian Regulatory Guidelines for OTC Medicines in line with the current TGA regulatory environment and business practices for OTC drugs, the agency says in a notice.
