Imported Devices Target of House Globalization Bill

Reps. John Dingell (D-Mich.) and Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) introduced the long-awaited globalization bill last month mandating that the FDA inspect device and drug plants in the U.S. and abroad every two years, unless the agency decides a facility’s record requires fewer audits.
