FDA Awards Grants for Development of Pediatric Medical Devices
The FDA has awarded three grants totaling $2 million for the development of medical devices for children, according to an agency statement. James Geiger and the Michigan Pediatric Device Consortium will receive $1 million, the largest grant amount. Pedro DelNido and the Pediatric Cardiovascular Device Consortium will receive $500,000, as will Michael Harrison and the University of California at San Francisco Pediatric Device Consortium.
