Indian Device Association Proposes Guidelines for Exports
Indian devicemakers should label their exports to meet the requirements of the country to which the device is going, according to labeling guidelines proposed by the Association of Indian Medical Device Industry. But the responsibility for ensuring compliance with the regulations would rest with the importer of the device and not the Indian exporter, the guidelines posted on the association’s website last month say.
