Teva Sues Mylan to Protect Generic MS Drug
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries has filed a patent infringement suit against Mylan Pharmaceuticals and Natco Pharma to stop sales of a proposed generic version of the multiple sclerosis (MS) drug Copaxone. Teva filed the suit recently in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York in response to the Mylan ANDA filing for generic Copaxone (glatiramer acetate) in September.
