Plavix Label Will Be Changed, Efficacy Cut by Some Drugs

The FDA is requiring a labeling change to Sanofi-Aventis and Bristol-Myers Squibb’s (BMS) blockbuster anti-blood-clotting drug Plavix to indicate
that it should not be used with AstraZeneca’s stomach-acid treatment Prilosec and some other acid-reducing drugs.
