Warning Letter Tells Provident to Hire GMP Consultant
The FDA has advised Provident Pharmaceuticals
to hire a good manufacturing practice (GMP) training consultant after finding its quality control unit did not follow company procedures. The FDA has concerns
about Provident’s commitment to ensure GMP compliance, according to a Nov. 9 warning
letter posted recently to the agency’s website. After the training, the company should evaluate all written procedures to ensure they are adequate,
complete and in compliance, the letter says.
